Who Can Donate Platelets?
In general, if you are in good health, between 18 and 69 years of age, and do not have a transmissible infectious disease (e.g., HIV, hepatitis, COVID-19, the flu, or a cold), you can donate platelets.

Platelets can be donated once every seven days, up to 24 times per year. Qualified platelet donors can earn up to $710 over eight weeks of scheduled donations.
- $50 – 1st donation
- $50 + $50 Bonus – 2nd donation ($50 bonus for becoming a qualified donor)
- $120 – 3rd and 4th donation
- $120 + $200 Bonus – 5th donation ($200 Dependable Donor Bonus for five donations in 8 weeks)
- For a total of $710 in 8 weeks!
